No to abortion

A child in a mother’s womb is one of the most beautiful creations of God; their innocent life has not been tampered by the materialistic world of survival. But the sad fact is some people violate their right to live by means of terminating them while they are still inside the womb.

 In many countries like Japan, China and America abortion is deemed legal. These countries perceive abortion as the key to reduce overpopulation. Statistics say that in these countries  abortion is legal, and it is implemented until today. . If you would see a video footage of an abortion, you would notice that some babies are gripping unto their lives, trying to dodge the instruments of the abortionist in order to survive the pain of being ripped of their life. This article will tackle about abortion and its effect to the mother.

 What is Abortion?

Abortion is the act of killing one’s life in the mother’s womb. This practice allows the mother to kill the baby inside her womb and end her pregnancy. The legality of abortion has long been debate by politicians.  Supporters of abortion claim that it should be legalized as an embryo or fetus is not a person but only a composition of blood without a brain.

 It is very ironic because the word “abortion” is derived from the Latin root “Aboriri” which means “to be born”. It was only until the 19th century that its meaning was changed to mean miscarriage and intentional termination. Many countries are still keeping the abortion bill on hold because of the profit gained by the government on such practice. Come to think of it abortion is one of the main reasons why the government and the church cannot be united. Until now, the moral act of not passing the bill and the immoral act of implementing it is still a question to most people.

 Effects of abortion:

Abortion is very dangerous to a mother’s health. After determining that a woman is pregnant (with the use of elisa kits), and the operation went on and was not successful, the mother is at high risk of blood poisoning. Aside from that physical complications may be experienced such as blood loss during the procedure that can cause the organs to fail and lead to hemorrhage or shock to the body.  It can also affect the mother’s spiritual health. Some mothers experience post-abortive syndrome that can cause nervous breakdown. Although there are rare cases of deaths from abortion, women who underwent such procedure is at high risk of having breast cancer by fifty percent.

 Abolish abortion:

Although abortion is already legal to some countries like Japan and United States, it is still immoral to society. It is like allowing a person to kill a life. Remember that the life of a human being starts at conception and after diagnosis with the use of elisa kits.

 The first one to be created is the heartbeat of the baby, and we all know that a heartbeat is a sign of life. Although an embryo does not have a brain nor can it speak, but it can already feel inside the womb. From that moment on, a new life is created. Aborting this new life is life murdering a child. Let’s give this child the opportunity to see the world, no matter how horrible or how unwanted his creation was. Remember that abortion is never the last or the best option out there.
